An Introduction to GUSEC

The Gujarat University Startup & Entrepreneurship Council (GUSEC) is a Gujarat University body to support entrepreneurs, startups and innovators of Gujarat University, and to promote and build a culture of entrepreneurship and innovation across the university spectrum.

Via GUSEC, GU plans to:

  • Build state-of-the-art co-creation centres at university- and affiliated-institute level and make them accessible to GU student entrepreneurs
  • Introduce students and faculy members to entrepreneurship and build a culture of creating jobs, rather than seeking jobs
  • Implement a university-wide student startup & entrepreneurship policy for the benefit of the students
